“BDSM love” erotic artwork to kink up your life

This post is for everyone who has looked around their house and thought: “I wish I could integrate more BDSM in my life.” Or: “gee, I’m over my boyband posters, and want something a bit more kinky.” Or have looked around in their dungeon and thought: “I need to class this up.” It is for people who enjoy a certain BDSM aesthetic. Or, you might say, some BDSM love.

“BDSM love” or “Edek Kredek” is an artist who has got the BDSM aesthetic completely down. Their works are beautiful, gritty, subtle and kinky. And as any contemporary commercial artist, they sell products with their work on it. You can think of prints, clothes, throw pillows.. And shower curtains? Sure, why not. I guess if you are going to kink up any room, the bathroom would be a first choice. So, if I am going to tell you to buy it all, I guess you would like to know what their work looks like, right

BDSM love presents: Locktober?

Let’s ease into it with a work that is subtle in its kinkiness for the uninitiated. (So safe if your parents are coming over.) But for certain kinksters, especially the ones who understand what I meant by Locktober, this is one of the kinkiest pictures out there. Let me introduce you to “Submission in Red – shhhh.”

Yes, October is not just “Kinktober,” but also “Locktober.” Just like this painting, Locktober combines subtlety with severity. Without you knowing, your boss or the person next to you in the traffic jam might be wearing a chastity device. And of course, the key to this device will be in the hands of their Dominant.

Then again, this key could point to a whole range of things. It could be a literal key, to a cage, or the toy chest/closet… Or a metaphorical key to open new worlds, unlock your deepest desires… The key to someone’s heart or even the key to a happy and fulfilled life. Which would of course include BDSM and kink. I guess the bottom line is that this is a beautiful work; safe to have around when people are coming over; and can be as kinky as your imagination wants it to be. I think this is a beautiful piece, which is why I needed to share it with you. And the same is true for the next artwork.

Shoe fetish as imagined by BDSM love?

Less subtle, but still more erotic than kinky, this next artwork is probably not one to show your parents. However, it will not scare away a vanilla first date that you have not had “the BDSM talk” with. Let’s give it a 5 on the subtlety scale: “Submission in Red – Rear View.”

I think the detail on this one is stunning. The shadow on the calves, the texture of the shoes and the edge of the shoulder blades make it lifelike. If this work was in a museum, I would be banned for trying to touch it. It draws me in. Though not many people would consider this work “high art” I think it is stunning. And again, the only limits on the kinkiness of this piece are those posed by your imagination. Because why is this person on their knees? And what’s the purpose of those heels? I guess having this work in the bedroom means you will never run out of kinky inspiration.

For the love of Bondage

So, let’s take it a bit further again on the subtle –> kinky scale. These two bondage paintings are both stunning. And even though they both depict bondage, their moods and messages are completely different the “Red Rope” paintings.

The detail on the rope of the first picture is amazing to me. Also, the way the legs are naturally “cut off” at the knees makes this a nicely stand-alone image with a beautiful composition. The right foot is a little bit to the front, which gives it more dimension and makes it look like the leg is coming towards you. The overall feeling is one of calm, and stillness.

In contrast, the second picture is dynamic. The shadows on the body are beautifully executed. And the red rope on the black-and-white picture makes for a nice contrast. But what I like most about this is the depiction of the pull, an idea of resistance, whether the depicted figure is the dom or sub. It can be brattiness, or caution. Or it may be entrapment and pulling someone in. But there is a struggle here, a not-quite-yet. Isn’t it great how a two dimensional picture can have so many meanings?

BDSM love wants to paint it black

The final pictures I would like to show you are from the “Submission in Black” series. Here, we say goodbye to subtlety and hello to the kinky lifestyle.

Yes Master, Always – Submission in Bw, Sexy on her knees” is not subtle. But “BDSM love” was right when they named the piece: she is very sexy on her knees. I really do like the way the hair was done, and the hairstyle suggested. The position of the arms looks painful, if you want the sub to retain command over her shoulders, don’t tie her up this way for too long. But for me, what really makes this piece is the curling of the toes. It’s what makes this artpieces subject human, vulnerable. No, I do not have a foot fetish, though it may look like it from the selection I made for this post. But what the artist did with the feet here is quite astonishing.

"Submission in Black - Obey" by BDSM love

Submission in Black – Obey” has a lot of interesting things going on for such a calm image. The dom’s hand is a bit reminiscent of Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam. The shadow play on the chest and shoulders is stunning. And the sub has a face to fall in love with. But more than anything, the facial expression signifies complete submission to such an extent that the handcuffs almost seem redundant. Though admittedly, without the handcuffs the position of her hands would probably have been less expressive.

And finally, “Submission in Black.” Where to begin. The lace. The mouth. The subtle color of the skin in contrast with the mostly grey hand on the throat. The shape of the nose and suggestion of a shoulder. The texture of the background, the sub gasping… And especially the one finger on the dom’s wrist. Not a hand grapsing the wrist and pulling it away… Just one finger, urging the dom on.

In conclusion

Okay, this is a bit unfair. I lured you in with a picture involving chain on the banner, and did not give you that one. So I’ll show it to you here, if you share your thoughts on it with me.

Here is “Submission in Color – Taste it.”
